I’m a software developer living in St. Louis, MO. I’ve worked in a variety of environments from solo developer to team lead. I’ve shipped code in javascript, typescript, java, kotlin, python, visual basic, and some bash scripts if you want to count that. I had, at one time, a TS/SCI (Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information) clearance but that has since lapsed after taking jobs that do not require it.
This site is a fully custom design written in elixir using the phoenix framework and the nimblepublisher library deployed on a cheap vps. This setup gives me freedom to do what I want in my favorite language. If you haven’t tried elixir yet I highly recommend it.
In my free time I cook, go hiking with my wife, and play synthesizers. I enjoy building DIY synths (specifically eurorack format) and have created a few designs that can be found on my github page.
